Let the games commence!

All members, their guests and visiting teams can use the clubhouse freely. If not a member, we ask that you are signed in by a member (this is a licensing requirement). Visiting teams will be notified of appropriate procedures ahead of any fixture.

Above all, we ask that you enjoy yourself in the clubhouse, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the sport on offer. Let the games commence!

Social Events

The clubhouse is the venue for various events and social gatherings throughout the year. Aside from regular mid-week social evenings and team curry nights, there are Christmas parties, themed evenings, Burns Nights, summer barbecues and the popular brass band carols singalong. The Social committee is always developing new ideas so do come along.

Clubhouse FAQs

Yes, you can visit the clubhouse in a social capacity up to 3 times as the guest of a member and must be signed in on each occasion (ask at the bar). Thereafter, you must become a member in your own right.

Yes! You can be a social member for just £30 pa. This will allow you to use the facilities, enjoy the bar and social functions, attend events and generally enjoy watching the sport on offer.

The opening hours of the clubhouse are not always fixed. This is in an effort to balance actual demand for the bar and clubhouse with the associated costs of doing so.

As a rule of thumb the grounds and clubhouse are open in conjunction with sporting activities. That said, the club is not always staffed during all opening hours.

We have a strict policy of not servicing alcohol to under 18’s. You may be required to show proof of your age, so please be prepared to do so when requested.

We reserve the right to refuse to serve an adult alcohol, if we believe the alcohol is being bought for a child.

Please note however, if a child is 16 or 17 and accompanied by an adult, it is legal for an adult to buy a beer, wine or cider if it is being drunk with a table meal.

Specially reserved disabled parking spaces can be found next to the hockey pitches, close to the clubhouse door. Inside there is a lift up to the bar on the first floor and a toilet suitable for wheelchairs.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the clubhouse and throughout the grounds on a lead. Please ensure you pick up any dog mess.
Yes, free wifi is available in the clubhouse. Ask at the bar for the password.
We have a commercial kitchen with a 5 star hygiene award from the Food Standards Agency. Simple bar food is offered at certain times. Various dishes are on offer at regular social events (see ‘What’s On’ for calendar).

Something of an institution, Pie Nights are a chance for members to get together to enjoy some good food and great company. Usually mid-week on a Wednesday, the menu varies – and it’s not just pies!

Yes, all with easy access to the playing areas and clubhouse. There is an overflow car park outside the main sliding metal gate and adjacent to the Community Orchard.

It is possible to walk from the village and the station, though it’s not recommended to use the Maidstone Road which has no continuous path. There is a well used footpath from Howland Road which is much safer but might be longer, depending on your start point.

Yes, there are currently two large TVs showing BT Sports, with plans for a large screen and projector.
